The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) and Triveni Kala Sangam come together to present Chalo Bachpan, an immersive weekend art festival for children and families on October 10 and 11, 2026. Hosted at the iconic Triveni Kala Sangam at Mandi House, New Delhi, this two-day celebration runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and features a series of three expert-led creative workshops. On Saturday morning, kids aged 5 and up can mold traditional Bankura clay toys from West Bengal. Saturday afternoon features a character-design and miniature painting session led by contemporary artist Anindita Bhattacharya for ages 6 to 16. The festival culminates on Sunday with a large-scale modular origami and geometric sculpting project led by architect Ankon Mitra and Rupsa Chattopadhyay, where older children create a giant serpent installation inspired by Bengal folk tales.
