Dastaan-e-Dev Anand

Dastaan-e-Dev Anand is a musical-theatrical production tracing the life, memories and cinema of one of Hindi cinema’s most enduring stars, Dev Anand.

Presented by Kolkata Centre for Creativity, the performance blends storytelling, live singing and music rather than following a conventional biographical format. It brings together stories and songs to recreate the world of Dev Anand and explore the screen presence that made him one of the most recognisable figures in Hindi cinema.

Sohaila Kapur and Nidhikant Pandey lead the narration, while Devanand Jha performs live. The musical accompaniment is by Adhir Das, Amit Kumar and Jeetu Nadaan. The production is presented by Three Arts Club and Katyayani Production, with Anuradha Dar as producer
