Gandhi Shilp Bazar National

Gandhi Shilp Bazar is an initiative focused on promoting India’s traditional handicrafts and the skills of its artisans. The event brings together craftsmen and craftswomen from different traditions, giving them an opportunity to showcase their handmade products and connect directly with visitors and buyers.

The 2026 Gandhi Shilp Bazar at Durgapur UH, West Bengal, is scheduled to take place from 13 November to 22 November 2026. The event will feature 56 stalls, providing artisans with space to display their crafts and reach a wider audience. 

Visitors can explore a variety of handmade products while discovering the traditional techniques, creativity and cultural heritage behind the crafts. The bazaar also helps artisans gain market exposure and sales opportunities, supporting the continued preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
