IFP Season 16 – Festival of Creativity and Culture
IFP Season 16 takes place on 24 and 25 October 2026 at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. Formerly known as India Film Project, IFP began in 2011 with a 50-hour filmmaking challenge and has since grown into a multidisciplinary platform connecting creators, industry professionals and audiences across creative fields.
The two-day festival celebrates storytelling, innovation and cultural exchange through more than 100 hours of curated sessions and contributions from over 180 creators spanning film, OTT, literature, music, design, photography, comedy, technology, gaming, advertising and the performing arts.
Festival Highlights
Film and OTT: Conversations with filmmakers, actors, producers and storytellers about filmmaking, screenwriting and the changing entertainment industry.
Literature and Writing: Author conversations, storytelling sessions, spoken-word performances and discussions on contemporary writing.
Music and Live Performances: Artist conversations, live music and the 50-Hour Music Challenge award ceremony.
Design and Visual Arts: Sessions exploring creative design, illustration, visual culture and the influence of technology on art.
Photography and Digital Media: Opportunities to explore visual storytelling, content creation and emerging media formats.
Workshops and Masterclasses: Learning sessions with established professionals across creative disciplines.
Technology and Gaming: Discussions on digital creativity, innovation and the intersection of technology and culture.
Creative Challenges: IFP's challenge-based formats encourage participants to create and submit work within defined time limits, including filmmaking, music, writing and design.
The festival's announced speakers include prominent names from cinema, literature and the creative industries, with sessions designed to encourage interaction between professionals and emerging creators.
IFP Season 16 is suited to filmmakers, writers, designers, musicians, photographers, podcasters, media students, content creators and anyone interested in exploring creative careers or connecting with a wider artistic community.
