Job Overview

Ardent Privacy is looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join its team and contribute to the development of next-generation Data Privacy and Security solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, database testing, API testing, and Agile software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.

• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and Smoke Testing.

• Execute manual test cases and manage defects using JIRA.

• Perform database testing using SQL and validate data integrity.

• Conduct basic API testing using Postman or Swagger.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams.

• Prepare QA documentation, test plans, and test reports.

• Follow QA best practices in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in Manual Testing.

• Strong knowledge of STLC and SDLC.

• Experience testing web applications.

• Database testing using SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL).

• API Testing using Postman or Swagger.

• Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.

• Linux/Unix operational knowledge.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Basic understanding of Automation Testing concepts.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
