Role Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of software applications. The role involves working closely with development teams and maintaining proper documentation throughout the testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing for various applications
Understand and follow SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
Design and execute test cases using techniques like Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) and Equivalence Partitioning
Identify, track, and report defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
Conduct database testing using SQL Server
Prepare clear and concise test documentation and reports
Required Skills
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
Hands-on experience in manual testing
Knowledge of test design techniques (BVA, Equivalence Partitioning, etc.)
Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure, etc.)
Working knowledge of SQL Server for database testing
Ability to create well-structured test documentation
