Narhar Kurundkar – The Story of a Thinker is a Marathi theatrical production celebrating the life and intellectual legacy of Narhar Kurundkar, an eminent scholar and original thinker known for challenging conventional perspectives.

The production explores Kurundkar’s ideas on history, political thought, theatre, literature, music and India's independence movement. It highlights his progressive outlook, his contributions to Maharashtra's literary and cultural institutions, and his engagement with younger generations.

Through powerful writing, creative sketches, evocative music and dynamic lighting, the play brings his ideas to the stage and considers their relevance to contemporary society. It encourages audiences to revisit his questions about culture, politics and history and reflect on why his perspectives continue to matter.
