Nrityabhangima is an immersive and interactive Rabindra Nritya workshop presented by the Kolkata Centre for Creativity, led by acclaimed dancer Pallabi Ruj.
The workshop will be held on 17 and 18 December 2026, followed by a culminating performance on 19 December 2026. Rooted in the Visva-Bharati dance traditions, it introduces participants to rhythm, movement and creative expression through an engaging, experiential approach.
The workshop views dance as a form of human connection, exploring the relationship between movement, rhythm, breath, music, nature and expression. Pallabi Ruj brings her experience in Rabindra Nritya and Visva-Bharati-associated dance traditions to create an accessible environment for participants to learn and express themselves.
Open to learners across age groups and skill levels, Nrityabhangima is designed as more than a conventional dance class—it is a shared journey into movement, creativity and human connection, culminating in a performance on 19 December.
