Odisha Walks – Puri Craft Trail

Odisha Tourism presents the Puri Craft Trail, a guided heritage experience showcasing the traditional arts and craftsmanship of Puri, Odisha. Listed for 10–31 December 2026, the approximately two-hour walk takes visitors through artisan neighbourhoods to discover the region’s distinctive creative traditions.

The trail highlights Pattachitra painting, a traditional art form known for its detailed illustrations and mythological themes; stone carving, which reflects Odisha’s long-standing sculptural heritage; and solapith craft, which uses a lightweight plant material to create decorative and ceremonial objects.

Participants can meet local artisans, observe live craft demonstrations and learn about the techniques, materials and cultural stories behind their work. The experience offers an opportunity to understand how traditional skills continue to support artisan communities and preserve Odisha’s cultural identity.
