Oracle Xstore Development Consultant

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Develop, implement and customize Oracle Retail XStore POS solutions.

• Work extensively with XStore Architecture, XStore Office, POSLog, Extension Framework, business components, event listeners and transaction workflows.

• Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical XStore solutions.

• Customize XStore JET UI, including screens, dashboards, forms and user-experience enhancements.

• Work with Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, SOAP Services, XML, JSON, SQL and Oracle Database.

• Design and develop integrations with:

  • ERP systems

  • Inventory platforms

  • Pricing systems

  • Loyalty platforms

  • Customer systems

  • Payment platforms

  • Omnichannel platforms

• Apply strong understanding of retail processes including sales, returns, exchanges, promotions, loyalty, inventory and store operations.

• Perform solution design, fit-gap analysis and impact assessments.

• Conduct code reviews, troubleshooting and defect resolution.

• Provide production support for XStore environments.

• Support SIT, UAT, deployments, upgrades, migrations, store rollouts, hypercare and post-production stabilization.

• Work with stakeholders and global retail teams to deliver solutions effectively.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Oracle XStore upgrade experience.

• XStore modernization programs.

• POSLog.

• DTX messaging.

• XOCS/SIOCS integrations.

• Experience with large-scale retail transformation initiatives.
