Process Mapping Analyst – BSA/AML Audit Remediation

The Kaptive is seeking a Process Mapping Analyst to translate regulatory requirements into clear process maps, swim-lane diagrams, decision trees, responsibility matrices, and standard operating procedures for a financial crime compliance remediation programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop As-Is and To-Be process workflows for:

  • Know Your Customer (KYC)

  • Customer Due Diligence (CDD)

  • Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)

  • Sanctions screening

  • Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing

  • Transaction monitoring alert investigations

• Create decision trees and RACI matrices for remediation workstreams.

• Draft and maintain SOPs aligned with applicable regulatory requirements.

• Translate compliance and regulatory requirements into clear, auditable process documentation.

• Support process documentation and remediation activities for a US-based financial institution.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in compliance operations, process documentation, or business analysis.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visio and process mapping.

• Strong SOP drafting and documentation skills.

• Exposure to BSA/AML, KYC, CDD, EDD, sanctions, and transaction monitoring.

• Ability to document processes in a way that supports audit scrutiny.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
