Role Description

The selected candidate will work on end-to-end product testing, focusing on real-world business scenarios, backend validation, and intelligent automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Test critical business flows: onboarding, cart, checkout, payments, orders, subscriptions

• Perform impact-based regression testing

• Conduct API and backend testing using Postman

• Validate database consistency (SQL validation)

• Identify edge cases, failure scenarios, and real-world bugs

• Collaborate with developers for faster debugging and resolution

Automation Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scripts using Cypress / Playwright / Selenium

• Automate key workflows (login, checkout, order lifecycle)

• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions)

Required Skills

• Strong experience in manual + automation testing

• Expertise in API testing and backend validation

• Knowledge of SQL and data validation

• Ability to think beyond test cases and understand product behavior

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience in e-commerce / payments / subscription systems

• Ability to test failure scenarios, retry logic, and edge cases

• Strong backend understanding

Not Suitable For

• UI-only testers

• Theory-based QA without real project experience
