The Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer will support construction estimation, quantity calculations, and preparation of project documentation. The role requires the ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings, prepare bills of quantities, and work confidently with Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Prepare and review BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) documentation.
Read and interpret structural drawings.
Read and interpret architectural drawings.
Understand bar bending and reinforcement drawings.
Perform quantity calculations and support construction cost estimation.
Use Microsoft Excel to prepare and maintain estimation sheets and related records.
Use AutoCAD to view and interpret technical drawings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience.
Practical knowledge of estimation and BOQ/BBS preparation.
Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
Understanding of reinforcement and bar bending drawings.
Microsoft Excel proficiency is mandatory.
Basic AutoCAD knowledge for reading and interpreting drawings.
