The Relationship Manager – Wholesale Lending will manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, including NBFCs, MFIs, large corporates, and MNCs. The role involves sourcing new business, structuring lending solutions, assessing credit risk, and building long-term client relationships while meeting the bank’s growth and risk objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and expand relationships with existing corporate and wholesale banking clients.
Acquire new clients and identify business opportunities in the wholesale lending segment.
Offer suitable financing solutions, including working capital facilities and term loans.
Conduct financial and credit analysis to assess borrower creditworthiness and lending risks.
Evaluate working capital requirements and recommend solutions aligned with client needs and the bank’s risk appetite.
Monitor portfolio performance and manage credit-related risks.
Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory developments affecting corporate lending.
Promote relevant banking products, including trade services, cash management, and treasury solutions.
Explore opportunities involving startup funding, venture capital (VC), and related banking solutions.
Ideal Candidate
3–10 years of experience in corporate or wholesale banking.
Exposure to large corporates and multinational companies (MNCs).
Experience or exposure to startup funding, venture capital, and related banking solutions.
Strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk management skills.
Proven track record in business development and relationship management.
Familiarity with working capital finance, term loans, trade services, cash management, and treasury products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
