The Senior Mainframe Developer will design, develop, maintain and optimise enterprise mainframe applications, supporting batch processing, online systems and application integration.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS.
Work within the IBM z/OS environment.
Support batch processing and online transaction systems.
Work with IMS and related mainframe technologies.
Troubleshoot issues and optimise application performance.
Support application integration and ongoing maintenance.
Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to support development and release processes.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS.
Expertise in IBM z/OS.
Knowledge of IMS, batch processing and online systems.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and performance optimisation.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
