Senior SAP MDG-M Technical / Functional Consultant

An opportunity is available for an experienced SAP MDG-M Technical / Functional Consultant to independently drive implementation, data migration, data replication, and integration activities across a complex SAP landscape.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Material Master Governance, SAP S/4HANA integration, and end-to-end master data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and enhance SAP MDG-M solutions.

• Work with MDG data models, workflows, BRF+, validations, and derivations.

• Support Fiori-based MDG processes and S/4HANA Material Master.

• Manage data replication through the Data Replication Framework (DRF), IDocs, APIs, and interfaces.

• Execute end-to-end data migration, including profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, loading, and cutover.

• Perform ABAP development, BAdI enhancements, Enhancement Framework activities, and debugging.

• Integrate Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and engineering systems with MDG and S/4HANA.

• Work with SAP Variant Configuration, including LO-VC / AVC and configurable materials.

• Manage material classification, characteristics, and data governance.

• Support integration across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of overall professional experience.

• Strong hands-on SAP MDG-M technical and functional implementation experience.

• Expertise in Material Master Governance, data migration, data replication, and SAP S/4HANA integration.

• Practical knowledge of ABAP, BAdIs, workflows, validations, and interfaces.

• Ability to independently manage implementation and integration activities.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, or MOM.

• Experience with global S/4HANA transformation programmes.

• Knowledge-transfer and mentoring capabilities.
