Senior ServiceNow Integration Developer

An opportunity is available for an experienced ServiceNow Integration Developer to design, develop, secure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently delivering complex integrations and supporting their reliability in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and troubleshoot ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, REST Messages, SOAP Messages, and Scripted REST APIs.

• Build and maintain IntegrationHub flows, subflows, custom actions, spokes, and connection or credential aliases.

• Configure and troubleshoot MID Servers, secure connectivity, and ECC Queue processing.

• Implement authentication and security mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, API keys, certificates, and mutual TLS (mTLS).

• Manage data integrations using SFTP, import sets, data sources, transform maps, coalesce rules, and data mapping.

• Develop scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.

• Improve integration reliability through logging, retry mechanisms, exception handling, alerting, and reconciliation.

• Troubleshoot API failures, authentication issues, MID Server problems, timeouts, data mismatches, and performance issues.

• Support ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.

• Participate in technical design, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, rollback planning, and production support.

Required Technical Skills

• ServiceNow REST/SOAP integrations and Scripted REST APIs.

• IntegrationHub and Flow Designer.

• MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.

• API authentication and integration security.

• Data integration and transformation.

• JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.

• Integration monitoring, reliability, and troubleshooting.

• ITSM processes and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills

• CMDB, Discovery, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and CI relationships.

• Integrations with SAP, SuccessFactors, Azure, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Salesforce, Power BI, DocuSign, or eBonding.

• Scoped applications, Service Portal, Employee Center, Workspace, and UI Builder.

• ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or CIS-ITSM certifications.

Candidate Profile

• 6–10 years of relevant experience.

• Strong hands-on ServiceNow integration development expertise.

• Ability to independently deliver complex enterprise integrations.

• Availability to join immediately.
