ServiceNow Platform / Integration Architect

An opportunity is available for an experienced ServiceNow Platform / Integration Architect to lead enterprise integration architecture, oversee technical delivery, guide development teams, and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Integration Architecture and Solution Design

• Design enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, MID Server, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and SFTP.

• Define integration patterns, API specifications, data mappings, and security controls.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and platform best practices.

2. ServiceNow Development and ITSM

• Provide technical guidance on JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Scoped Applications.

• Ensure alignment with ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and SLA Management.

3. Integration Reliability and Troubleshooting

• Establish logging, monitoring, error handling, retry mechanisms, and reconciliation processes.

• Troubleshoot API failures, authentication issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.

• Promote reliable data exchange across enterprise systems.

4. CMDB and Technical Governance

• Guide CMDB integration architecture, data synchronization, and governance.

• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and design approvals.

• Ensure security compliance, quality assurance, and adherence to technical standards.

• Manage technical debt and support continuous improvement.

5. Deployment and Delivery

• Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and rollback planning.

• Ensure appropriate technical documentation and delivery readiness.

6. Technical Leadership

• Mentor developers and guide technical teams.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate architecture decisions.

• Independently drive enterprise integration design and technical delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of overall professional experience.

• 7+ years of ServiceNow experience.

• Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform and integration architecture.

• Strong knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, enterprise integrations, and platform governance.

• Experience in technical design reviews, security controls, troubleshooting, and deployment management.

• Strong developer mentoring and stakeholder management skills.
