Software Engineer – Data Platforms / Data Engineering

DoorDash is inviting applications for the position of Software Engineer in Hyderabad, Telangana. The opportunity is intended for experienced software and data engineering professionals with expertise in data platforms, workflow orchestration, and AI-assisted software development.

Key Skills and Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong experience in data platforms, data engineering, or a related domain.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Kotlin, or Scala.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ETL orchestration and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow.

• Experience using AI-powered coding tools, including Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, across the software development life cycle (SDLC).
