The India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale (IAADB) 2026 is the second edition of the biennale, organised by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Scheduled from 4 December 2026 to 21 March 2027, the four-month celebration will turn Delhi into an interconnected cultural canvas, bringing contemporary art, architecture and design into dialogue with the city’s heritage and public spaces.
The theme for the 2026 edition is “Tat Tvam Asi – You Are That: Reconnecting in an Age of Distraction.” The programme explores ideas of reflection, rejuvenation, renewal and resilience, encouraging artists, architects and designers to engage with people, heritage, the built environment and the natural world through contemporary creative practices.
The Biennale will feature curated exhibitions, public art, monument activations, a Student Biennale, heritage walks, workshops, performances and market-linked activities. Events and installations are planned across a wide range of Delhi venues, including Purana Qila, Red Fort, Qutub Minar Complex, Humayun’s Tomb, National Gallery of Modern Art, IGNCA, Lalit Kala Akademi and Crafts Museum.
By bringing art and design into historic monuments, institutions, neighbourhoods and public spaces, IAADB 2026 creates a citywide platform for artists, curators, architects, designers, students and cultural institutions to present new ideas while engaging with Delhi’s rich cultural landscape.
