The Majestic Kapamodzü and Zhavame Village experience is scheduled for 3–4 December 2026 in Phek district, Nagaland. Located around Kapamodzü Peak and Zhavame village, the event offers visitors an opportunity to explore the region’s natural landscapes and village culture.
Kapamodzü Peak, rising to around 2,620 metres, provides panoramic views of the Saramati Range, Japfü Peak, Kohima and neighbouring villages of Nagaland and Manipur. The surrounding landscape is also known for its diverse wild plants and flowers, including rhododendrons, orchids, ferns and wild roses.
Visitors can explore Zhavame, a village recognised for its organic vegetable production, particularly cabbage and potatoes. The area also offers opportunities for trekking, nature exploration and experiencing local village life, making the destination well suited to nature and community-based tourism.
The experience brings together mountain scenery, trekking, local culture and rural landscapes, offering travellers a chance to discover a less-explored part of Nagaland while engaging with the natural and cultural character of Phek district.
