VIJAYAWADA UTSAV

Vijayawada Utsav 2026 is the flagship cultural festival of Andhra Pradesh, organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Scheduled from 11 to 20 October 2026, the 10-day celebration will transform Vijayawada into a vibrant cultural destination under the theme “One City–One Celebration.”

The festival brings together the city’s heritage, traditions and contemporary talent through a diverse programme of classical and folk-art performances, devotional programmes, celebrity-led entertainment and Dandiya nights. Visitors can also enjoy exhibitions, family-oriented activities, sporting events and a grand carnival.

A major attraction of Vijayawada Utsav is its mix of cultural experiences and large-scale entertainment, including fireworks and community-focused activities such as Swachhathon initiatives and skill-development programmes. The festival provides a platform for artists, artisans, entrepreneurs and local communities to participate in the celebration.

Held at Punnami Ghat, Vijayawada, the Utsav also supports Andhra Pradesh’s efforts to promote regional arts, local talent and tourism. It offers visitors an opportunity to experience the cultural identity and festive spirit of Vijayawada in a citywide celebration.
