We are Hiring at Colate for Software Engineer | 5+ Years (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, & Gurgaon)

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust RESTful API services using Java 8+, Spring Boot and

Hibernate, with awareness of API Gateway patterns such as APIGEE.

• Build event-driven applications and integrations using Apache Kafka.

• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker; manage workloads on Kubernetes

clusters using Istio and Helm.

• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on GCP/GKE using Infrastructure-as-

Code (Terraform).

• Apply strong DevOps principles including Git, Maven, Jenkins CI/CD, Nexus and

SonarQube throughout the development lifecycle.

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, apply TDD practices using JUnit, and demonstrate

proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related discipline

with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

• Strong understanding of Java 8+, Spring Boot and Hibernate for building enterprise-

grade applications.

• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with API Gateway technologies (e.g.

APIGEE).

• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

• Experience building and deploying containerized applications with Docker; managing

Kubernetes clusters with Istio and Helm.

• Cloud experience on GCP/GKE with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

• Proficiency with DevOps tooling: Git, Maven, Jenkins CI/CD, Nexus and SonarQube.

• Solid SQL/NoSQL database skills, basic Unix/Linux proficiency, and TDD using JUnit.
