We are Hiring at Colate - GCP DevOps Engineer (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, & Gurgaon)

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus and Git to

enable frequent, reliable software releases.

• Champion modern engineering practices across delivery teams, promoting a DevOps

culture of shared ownership, automation and continuous improvement.

• Build, deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker, with experience of

test automation tooling including JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium and Postman.

• Drive innovation in automation to improve system resilience, release frequency and

operational efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to foster a strong team culture and embed

DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure, ideally on GCP, ensuring reliable and scalable

service delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related discipline

with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

• Strong software engineering and pipeline background, preferably Java-based.

• Proven experience and deep understanding of modern engineering and DevOps

practices.

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling: Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Git and Docker.

• Experience with test automation frameworks including JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium and

Postman.

• Passion for collaborating with engineers and building a strong, inclusive team culture.

• Demonstrated ability to innovate in automation to improve resilience and release

frequency.

• Exposure to cloud technology, ideally GCP.
