Duduma Falls: One Of Eastern India's Tallest Waterfalls

Duduma Falls is among the tallest waterfalls in eastern India. The waterfall drops from a height of around 157 metres (515 feet).

It sits on the border of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. The water comes from the Machkund River, which flows through forested hills before plunging down the cliff.

Locally, the waterfall is sometimes called Matsya Tirtha. The surrounding area is filled with thick greenery and rocky terrain, which makes the view even more impressive.

During monsoon months, the waterfall becomes especially powerful. The sound of the water crashing down can be heard from a distance.

The best time to visit Duduma Falls is between October and February.
